Kamen Tang's try with less than two minutes to play, helped ACJC pip RI 15–12 to a third-placed finish.
SAJC scored all 17 of their 17–0 semi-final victory over ACJC in the first half.
The victory gives RI their fourth title in five years; Victoria Junior College stopped their title streak in 2013.
First-year student Heather Lee (#23) led VJC with two goals, while teammate Claresta Yeo (#29) added one.
A 25–0 first-half effort propelled ACS(I) to the 37-point victory, securing them a spot in the final.
Leon Kwek (#10) led Singapore with 18 points, while Toh Qing Huang (#8) and Kelvin Lim (#22) added double-doubles. All three cagers are featuring in their first SEABA Championship.
HCI completed the race in 3:31.15 to clinch the silver medal, while Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) bagged the bronze medal with a timing of 3:34.04.
