The victory was a close shave for the three-time champions, as the scores (25-15, 25-21, 25-20) were kept close in two of three sets.
A double-double by national cager Lim Shengyu (#12) helped NUS close out a flawless season with a 80-62 win over SIM in the final, earning them their second straight title.
NTU's Lim Jia Min (#6) finished the game with a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds, to go with seven dimes and five steals.
