The first half saw both teams struggle to bring the ball into the goal area. The middle third of the court was tightly contested, as possession changed frequently between both teams in the period.
Quick passing from River Valley was key to their offence in the first quarter.
A 12–3 run in the second quarter gave Raffles Girls' a comfortable 20–8 lead at half-time.
Nanyang Girls' displayed a quick and efficient offence, as they utilised precise passes to advance the ball towards the goal circle.
Priscilla Wong (USS #5) led all scorers with 15 points, while Koh Hui Ling (AIS #7) chipped in eight points to lead her team.
Lydia Ong (ZHS #5) led all scorers with 23 points, while Clarice Tan (AHS #11) paced her team with 11 points.
Bukit Panjang now share the lead of Group B along with North Vista Secondary. Both teams have compiled a 2–0 win–loss record. They also have both qualified for the second round of the championship.
