SA Cross Country U18: Cedar Girls’ take home team title

The team’s top runner, Isabelle Toh, clocked 24 minutes 38 seconds for the 5km route. She was followed by her teammate Ong Wui Shen with a time of 24:59.
Powerhouse duo Tan Chong Qi and Chester Lee also led RI to the U20 team title. The closest finisher behind the duo was Sherman Lim of Victoria Junior College who clocked 18:03.
She clocked 19 minutes 21 seconds for the 5km course while teammate Nicole Low finished just five seconds behind.
RI duo Armand Dhilawala Mohan (17:15) and Gupta Chirag (17:45) finished second and third respectively behind Hussein in the U18 race.
He edged out Muhammad of Victoria School who finished just six seconds behind in second place.
Dave Tung of SJI led the boys' C Division field with a timing of 12:20.2, while Caylee Chua of Crescent Girls' led the girls' field with a timing of 14:06.7.
Nicole Low takes home the gold medal in 12:55.3, helping VJC to win their first girls' A Division team title in eight years.
