Seven years after its inauguration, Red Sports held its first RED All-Star Weekend to commemorate youth sports and to give our young student athletes something to cheer about.
More than 1000 people, comprising some of the best and most popular school athletes and fans, descended upon *SCAPE on 8 and 9 August 2014 for the inaugural RED All-Star Weekend.
Up to 500 of the best and most popular school athletes will compete in the inaugural Red All-Star Weekend (RASW) on August 8 and 9, 2014 at *SCAPE.
Hillgrove’s Manfred Chew (#3) was top scorer with three goals, while Orchid Park’s Mohamed Noor Irfan B Mohd S (#9), Bernard Chang (#4) and Muhammad B Razali (#11) scored one goal each.
Northland’s Muhammad Zaki B Zulkarnain (#77) was top scorer with four goals, and his teammates Jharen Glen Victoriano Yap (#39) and Darryl Tan (#43) had to goals each. Loyang’s (#23) and (#14) led their team with one goal each.
Ong Chong Lin (SST #97) was top scorer of the game with three goals, and his teammates Chng Bing Xuan (SST #23) and L Harisankaran (SST #96) had two goals each. (HSS #9) led his team with two goals.
Halfway through the first period, Darshini (STC #75) seized an opportunity to slot the ball in from the right wing for the first goal of the game.
