Launched in 2012, the Netball Hall of Fame serves to honour some of the greatest Netball athletes based on their contributions to Singapore.
Led by SUniG debutant Shina Teo, NTU had their way against NUS and romped to a 62-52 win and their first ever crown.
Singapore had two wins out of eight matches in the gruelling 10-day NWC2015 campaign, with both wins coming against Asian rivals Sri Lanka.
This came after a disappointing 36-67 loss to Zambia yesterday. Singapore are now left with a final playoff game to finish 15th, the same position that was achieved at the last World Cup.
Singapore are looking to improve on their 15th position from the last World Cup and to achieve this, they will need to win their last qualification match against Zambia.
Singapore qualified for the 9th to 16th position playoffs after having lost 31-75 to Malawi in their last Pool C game which left them third in the first-round group.
Singapore’s NWC debutants, Shelby Koh, Pamela Liew, Olivia Flanagan, and Yu Mei Ling, had their chance on court as Singapore rotated and fielded all players.
