This was a rematch of the 2013 semi-final, which SAJC won 5-0. SAJC would go on to win the 2013 title.
PJC did not manage to qualify for the plate championship last year.
Aaron Hor (#10), Roderick Lim (#14) and Muhamad Zuhaily (#12) scored a try each in CJC's 19–0 win over JJC. Andrew Tan (#9) registered two conversions.
St. Andrew's Junior College (SAJC) are through to the final after a gritty 15–7 win over Raffles Institution (RI).
With the game twice postponed because of lightning and the Saints leading 11–8 with 24 minutes to go in the second half, the final was finally decided by a penalty try.
Joshua Goh (ACS(I) #13) led the charge with two tries, as ACS(I) were able to put seven tries on the board against SJI.
SAJC were able to maintain their unbeaten run in the group stages of the National A Division Rugby Championship. They secured qualification for the semi-final in their previous game against Jurong Junior College (JJC).
