Anne Hui Qi wins ultramarathon in record time (while others take record time to get to Sundown Marathon)

Singaporean Anne Hui Qi, 29, won the women's ultramarathon in 8 hours 4 seconds, 47 minutes faster than last year's record. Korean Jae Duk Sim won the men's category in 6:18:48, chopping off 78min from last year’s winning time of 7:36:05. It was a debut effort for both runners.

Marathon runners set for dash down Orchard Road

In a historic first for a marathon in Singapore, participants of the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore (SCMS) 2010 can look forward to nothing but an experience of a lifetime as they either run down Orchard Road, through Universal Studios Singapore in Sentosa or on the newly opened Helix Bridge, depending on which category they sign up for.
