C Div 200m Breaststroke (Boys): Dynes Quek of Sports School wins gold and sets new U-14 record of 2:27.00

The previous age group mark was held by Brilliant Chua when he clocked a time of 2:27.84 at the 36th South-east Asian Age Group Swimming Championships. Dynes smashed the record by 0.84 seconds, and also took a massive three seconds off his 2:30.17 PB.

Tan Jing-E of Methodist Girls' School set a new meet record of 2:23.17. Daphne Tan of Raffles Girls’ School was second with 2:29.34, while Genevieve Lye of MGS came in third in 2:30.96.

Gerald Chua of Anglo-Chinese Junior College came in over 17 seconds after Zheng Wen to clinch silver, while Joshua Koh of Raffles Institution finished third in 2:27.59.
