SNOC issues final list of 419 athletes who will represent Singapore at SEA Games

The Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) has issued the final list of 419 names of Singaporeans who will represent the country at the upcoming South East Asian (SEA) Games in Indonesia.

Joseph, 16, clocked a time of 24.95 seconds in last night's heats to better Nicholas Tan's mark of 24.99 sec set more than three years ago. He was the fifth fastest in the heats, and advanced to this morning's semi-finals, where he clocked 25.02 sec to only place 10th and missed out on a spot in the final.

Joseph Schooling finishes fifth in 100m Butterfly final at World Junior Swimming Championships

Joseph, the national record holder in this event, clocked a time of 54.07 seconds, and had recorded times of 54.16 and 54.45 in the semi-finals and preliminaries respectively. His national record stands at 53.71 sec which he registered at the ASEAN Schools Games in July, en route to the gold medal.

SEA Games: 369 athletes to go; table tennis in limbo

369 athletes were selected to represent Singapore at the upcoming South East Asian (SEA) Games in Indonesia in November, 2011. In the meantime, the SNOC have deferred their decision on the table tennis representatives.
