Tan Chong Qi of Raffles Institution won the A Division Boys' 5000m in 16:53.68, getting the better of Isaac Tan of ACS(I) who had beaten him in the National Schools Cross Country Championships three weeks ago.
A Div 3000m (Girls): Nicole Low of VJC breaks 13-year-old record with 10:57.61 timing
Her timing dipped under the previous electronically-timed championship record of 10:59.21, set by Hwa Chong Junior College alumna Pamela Chia in 2003.
B Div 3000m: Syed Hussein of Pasir Ris takes home title with 9:44.86 run
Fang Yiyang of Commonwealth Secondary and Er Wen Han of Hwa Chong Institution came in second and third with timings of 9:50.79 and 0:51.38 respectively.
A Div High Jump (Girls): Kon Pei Ying of HCI retains gold with 1.59m PB jump
Kon Pei Ying of Hwa Chong Institution claimed her third National Schools high jump gold in a row when she cleared a personal best height of 1.59m to win the A Division Girls' event.
Pole Vault (Girls’ Open): Cherlin Sia of Sports School claims gold with 3m vault
Ong Yi En (2.68m) of Cedar Girls' Secondary and Yap Fang Ling (2.53m) of CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls' School came in second and third.
B Div Triple Jump: Arfan Azhar of Sports School wins gold with 13.46m jump
Arfan B Azhar of Singapore Sports School won gold in the B Division Boys' triple jump with a personal best 13.46m leap. Ernest Ong (13.39m) and Brandon Lim (13.26m) of Hwa Chong Institution came in second and third.
C Div 1500m Walk: Joey Lim of Cedar Girls’ breaks record with 9:00:27 to win gold
Lee Pei En of CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School was second in 09:14.31 while her teammate Jolene Tan was third in 09:27.41.
