Shuqun Secondary held off a resilient Bukit Panjang Government High to win 2-0 at their first Group C match in the B Division Girls West Zone Volleyball Championship. In the other group match, Greenridge Secondary beat Pioneer Secondary 2-0 to notch their first win as well.
St Hilda’s Secondary beat Bukit Panjang Government 2-0 to win the U13 Boys National Junior Volleyball Championship 2010 final. In the earlier 3/4th placing match, Dunman Secondary came from one set down to beat Xinmin Secondary 2-1.
Ngee Ann Secondary edged out Dunman Secondary 2-0 in a nail-biting encounter to win the U13 Girls National Junior Volleyball Championship 2010 final. In the earlier 3/4th placing match, Anderson Secondary piped Jurong Secondary to the honours after winning 2-0.

Despite changing venues for a game that was supposed to be held at the Singapore Management University (SMU), the National University of Singapore (NUS) women’s volleyball team managed to defeat Nanyang Technological University (NTU) 25-16, 25-20, 25-21 in the Singapore University Games (SUniG) last week.
