With three players scoring more than 15 points each, it was a team effort for Anderson Junior College as they defended their National A Division Basketball Championship title, taking down National Junior College in overtime 66--60.
The overall playmaking of Tan Hui Xiang (DHS #7) and the sharpshooting of Teh Wen Jan (DHS #4) bagged them each 21 points as they led Dunman High School to their first National Girls' A Division Basketball Championship title over Raffles Institution 53--32.
With a dominant first half and 11 points from Matthew Robinson [ACS(I) #9], Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) came out tops over Raffles Institution 26-14 for their fifth consecutive National A Division Rugby Championship title.
Raffles Institution's bigs, Tan Kang Yi (RI #12) and Shannon Tiong (RI #15), scored 18 and 13 respectively to lead them past Hwa Chong Institution 51--46 and into the National Girls' A Division Basketball Championship final.
Thanks to 12 points from Tan Hui Xiang (DHS #7), Dunman High School held on to their lead and pulled out a 46--39 win over Nanyang Junior College, advancing to the National Girls' A Division Basketball Championship final.
