ACS(I)'s Mark Lee (#53) blazed through the A Div boys’ 200m final in a 21.62s (-0.3m/s) record run, shattering the 10-year-old electronically-timed championship and schools national record of 21.75s set by Hwa Chong alumnus Donovan Chan. National B Div Rugby: ACS(I) beat Barker brethren 19-0 in first NSG final since 2019
Nothing could dampen the mood of the B Division rugby boys competing in the first National School Games final after the Covid-19 pandemic enforced a suspension in the last two years. Not even multiple match postponements, playing their semi-final matches only the day before and a pitch decimated by torrential rain. In the end, ACS (Independent) beat ACS (Barker Road) 19-0 on aggregate.
National B Div Rugby: ACS (Barker Road) pip St Andrew’s to make first all-ACS final since 2013
Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road) held off the challenge of St Andrew's Secondary School to reach its first Cup final in the National School B Division Rugby Championship since 2013. The Barker boys edged Saints 7-5 and 17-14 in the pair of back-to-back 7-a-side matches, involving different groups of players from each school. This is a change from the usual 15-a-side format in the first National School Games rugby competition after a two-year hiatus, due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation. ACS (Barker Road) will play brother school, ACS (Independent) in the final scheduled for April 21.

Two teams went under 42 seconds in the men’s 4x100m relay as NTU’s Calvin Quek, Praharsh Ryan, Muhammad Zulkhair and Xander Ho (in white) pipped title holders NUS by 0.09s to take the gold in 41.67s. NTU’s gold-winning time was just two hundredths of a second outside the 41.65s IVP meet record, set in 2010 by the then-NUS team.
