Lim Fang Jan of Raffles Institution came in second with a time of 1 minute 05.06 seconds, while Isaac Soo of ACS(I) was close behind with a time of 1 minute 05.53 seconds.
Andy Lo of Raffles Institution came in second in a time of 59.29 seconds, while Jeremy Tan of ACS(I) took home the bronze with a time of 1 minute 01.78 seconds.
Maximillian Ang of Singapore Sports School came in second in a time of 2 minutes 18.38 seconds, while Erasmus Ang rounded up the podium with a time of 2 minutes 21.00 seconds.
Daryl Ho of Anglo-Chinese Junior College and Helou Mekal of St Joseph’s International were tied for second place in 24.82s.
Tan Kuan Ee of Raffles Institution finished in second in a time of 2 minutes 1.75 seconds, while Mitpoosaporn Teekayu of Singapore Sports School clinched the bronze in a time of 2 minutes 6.23 seconds.
This is Michael's second straight win after also claiming gold in 2013.
The previous age group mark was held by Brilliant Chua when he clocked a time of 2:27.84 at the 36th South-east Asian Age Group Swimming Championships. Dynes smashed the record by 0.84 seconds, and also took a massive three seconds off his 2:30.17 PB.
