RGS win narrowly but still fail to qualify for B Division netball semi-finals

Raffles Girls' Secondary School defeated Cedar Girls' Secondary 25-24 in their final game of the National B Division Netball quarter-finals. However, having lost two games to CHIJ Secondary (Toa Payoh) and Nanyang Girls' High, Raffles needed a convincing victory over Cedar to make it to the semi-finals with CHIJ Secondary.

CHIJ (Toa Payoh) break 4x800m C Division girls record in SPH Schools Relay Championships

The C Division girls from CHIJ (Toa Payoh) Secondary School broke the 4x800m record with a time of 10 minutes 39.50 seconds, 4 seconds faster than the 2006 record set in 2006 by the Singapore Sports School team.

Clara Wong in surprise victory over Mok Ying Rong at schools’ cross-country championships

Clara Wong from Methodist Girls' School emerged as B division girls' champion, winning in a time of 16 minutes 8 seconds. It was an unexpected victory for her as many, including herself, were banking on the Raffles Girls' School's Mok Yin Rong to win.
