The win puts NYGH at the top of Group Y with a 1–0 win-loss record, while Dunman are at the bottom with a 0–1 win-loss record.
Gabriel Tan (#7) led the East Zone champions with a game-high 14 points while Mohammad Yousuf (#11) and Mohamed Afiq (#6) scored 12 and 11 points respectively for Swiss Cottage.
Kiren Teo (#9) led Anglican High with 15 points while Nicholas Quah (#5) added 10. Fabian (#7) scored 15 points for Dunman High.
Nigel Tan (#13) and Koh Jun Hao (#10) led Dunman with a 18 and 14 points respectively. Manjusri's Zhang Sibo (#23) recorded 23 points in the loss.
Koh Jun Hao (DMN #10) led his team with a game-high 16 points.
The two teams last met in the first round of the nationals, where Unity went down to Dunman by two points.
SCGS missed out on the final last year, after going down 58–62 to Unity in the semi-final game, while this is Dunman’s fifth consecutive appearance in the national final.
