MGS pulled away in the second quarter, outscoring St. Hilda's 14–6.
C Div Cross Country: Er Wen Han and Elaine Quah bag gold
Wen Han clocked his personal best of 12:16.5 to lead the boys, while Elaine finished ahead of the girls with her personal best of 14:55.5.
B Div Cross Country: Tan Chong Qi of RI and Natalie Soh of Paya Lebar MGS win gold
Chong Qi claimed the gold by running the 4.3-kilometre route in a personal best time of 14:26.7. Natalie also posted a personal best of 14:28.7 to win her 3.6km race.
West Zone C Div Netball: Nanyang Girls’ High defeat MGS 27-26 to take home zonal title
In 2012, MGS were the overall zonal champions while Nanyang Girls' High were third.
West Zone B Div Netball: River Valley High triumph 25–24 over MGS to emerge champions
River Valley High trailed throughout the whole game, only to snatch lead with a minute left in the last quarter and run away with the victory.
B Division Softball: St. Theresa’s Convent come from 0–5 down to beat MGS 6–5
St. Theresa's exploded for six runs in the fifth inning to win the game after trailing 0–5.
West Zone B Div Netball: Nanyang, River Valley, West Spring, MGS dominate in Round 1
