NUS punish NTU 22-0 in Tri-Universities rugby

The National University of Singapore (NUS) steamrolled the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore (NTU) 22-0 in what was initially expected to be a close game. The victory vaulted NUS to the top of the Tri-Universities Rugby Championship, an inaugural tournament also involving the Singapore Management University (SMU) and played on a home-and-away basis.

SMU to take on NUS in Tri-Universities Rugby Championship

The highly-anticipated second game of the Tri-Universities Rugby Championships between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Singapore Management University (SMU) will kick off at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, February 2 at the NUS Field. SMU is looking to build on their victory over the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in their first game last weekend whilst NUS plan to start their campaign on the right note. The venue is familiar to the SMU team, who won the inaugural NUS 7s back in 2006.
