Ngee Ann Secondary edged out Cedar Girls’ 2-1 (25-20, 23-25, 25-23) to earn a spot in the semi-finals of the National B Division Girls’ Volleyball Championship. Prior to this match, both teams had had one win and one loss each, meaning that Cedar Girls’ have seen their dream run come to an end as they were sent packing after this match’s loss
Shuqun Secondary kept their hopes of qualifying for the semi-finals alive after they edged out Ngee Ann Secondary 2-1 (27-25, 22-25, 25-17) in their Group X, Round Two match of the National B Division Girls’ Volleyball Championship.
Ngee Ann Secondary’s consistency in the match was a winning factor for the team as they beat Jurong Secondary 2-0 (25-20, 26-24) in their Round 2, Group X match of the National B Division Girls’ Volleyball Championships.
The second round of the B Division National Schools Volleyball Championship will kick off in the second term. All matches will be held at Presbyterian High.
Fairfield Methodist took top spot of Group C after seeing off Ngee Ann Secondary 2-0 (25-8, 25-13) in their final group match at the National B Division Girls’ Volleyball Championship. With both teams having won their previous two matches, it was up to this decider to determine whether they progress to the next round in first or second place.
Fairfield Methodist and Ngee Ann Secondary both notched a win in their respective Group C matches in Round one of the National B Division girls volleyball championship. Fairfield had to play to a third set to see off opponents Bukit Panjang Government High 2-1 (25-20, 18-25, 25-13) whereas Ngee Ann defeated Chung Cheng High (Yishun) 2-0 (25-17, 25-17).
Ngee Ann Secondary edged out Dunman Secondary 2-0 in a nail-biting encounter to win the U13 Girls National Junior Volleyball Championship 2010 final. In the earlier 3/4th placing match, Anderson Secondary piped Jurong Secondary to the honours after winning 2-0.
Dunman Secondary and Ngee Ann Secondary have progressed into the final of the U13 Girls National Junior Volleyball Championship 2010 after winning their respective semi-final matches. Dunman beat Anderson Secondary 2-0 while Ngee Ann defeated Jurong Secondary with the same scoreline.
