B, C Div Relays: Nanyang Girls’ prevent Singapore Sports School clean sweep at nationals
Nanyang Girls' all-star C Division relay teams were anchored by 80m hurdles-100m double gold medallist Elizabeth-Ann Tan and 800m-1500m champion Wu Shu Han. The girls clocked 50.04 seconds in the 400m relay -- their best this season -- and 4 minutes 15.68 seconds in the 1600m relay to claim two gold medals to add to the five individual ones the school earned previously.
B Div 200m: Relaxed Reuben earns gold for Sports School; Grace Anthony scores 1st RGS track win
Reuben dominated the field, scoring a relative straightforward win in 22.41 seconds, though still some way off ex-national sprinter Poh Seng Song's divisional record at 21.88s that was set in 1999. Grace earned RGS its first gold medal of this year's championships, after she outran Reuben's schoolmate Diane Pragasam.
B Div 400m: Diane Pragasam of Sports School clinches fourth gold in as many years
Diane clocked 1:01.04, while teammate Zann Oh edged out Grace Shani Anthony of RGS by 0.01s for the silver.
National Schools Cross Country: Nan Hua’s dominant B Girls clinch historic 1st team title
History was made in the 58th National Inter-School Cross Country Championships when unfancied Nan Hua High School clinched the B Division Girls’ team title and brought home its first ever cross country championship.
B Div 200m (Girls): Diane Pragasam of Sports School hits new 26.24s PB for gold
Diane managed to fight off the competition, crossing the finishing line 0.12s ahead of Tanisha Moghe of Cedar Girls'.
National C Div Netball: RGS beat Tanjong Katong 43-12 to finish third
RGS limited TKGS to single-digit scoring in each quarter to secure their win.
B Div 3000m (Girls): Elaine Quah of RGS takes home gold with timing of 11:32.78
Vera Wah and Joyceleen Yap, both of Cedar Girls’, came in second and third with timings of 11:34.06 and 11:36.27 respectively.
