Defending champions North Vista Secondary suffered their first defeat in their opening match against Unity Secondary as they fell 55-37 in a Group D match at the National C Division Boys' Basketball Championship. In another game, 2010 runner up Dunman Secondary steamrolled Raffles Institution as they won 42-10.
