Joseph Schooling led from start to finish in the men’s 200 metres individual medley and clocked a time of 2 minutes 0.82 seconds to improve on silver-medal showing at the last Games.
The victory in their final game means Singapore finish with a 4–2 win-loss record.
A 38–9 fourth quarter scoring spree saw Singapore register its largest win so far which improved their win-loss record to 3–2.
