RGS defend B Division tennis title with victory over SCGS

In the South Zone B Division Netball Championship, Raffles Girls' School and St. Margaret's Secondary easily overcame their second round opponents in Group Y. RGS beat Crescent Girls' School 45-10 while St. Margaret's defeated Ang Mo Kio Secondary 41-17.
CHIJ (TP), RGS and Cedar Girls' finished top while Crescent Girls' School, SCGS and Ang Mo Kio were second in their respective groups.
St Margaret's Secondary, Cedar Girls' School, Raffles Girls' School, CHIJ Secondary (Toa Payoh). Crescent Girls' School, Fairfield Methodist School, Singapore Chinese Girls' School and Ang Mo Kio Secondary qualified for the second round of the C Division South Zone Netball Championship.
The gulf between the two teams was evident right from tip-off, as SCGS ran off 16 unanswered points while forcing countless turnovers from the Mayflower team, which simply could not break the full court trap that their opponents sprang at them.
The second round of the B Division South Zone Basketball matches got underway today, as Raffles Institution (RI), Peirce Secondary School (PS), Yuying Secondary School, Queensway Secondary and Singapore Chinese Girls' School (SCGS) kept up their unbeaten run in the tournament.
The B Division South Zone Basketball Championship concluded this week with 10 boys' team and six girls' teams making it through to the next round.
Cedar Girls', Ang Mo Kio, CHIJ (Toa Payoh), Crescent Girls', RGS, SCGS, St Margaret's and Serangoon Garden make it through to the second round of the B Division South Zone Netball Championship.
