Elaine Quah wins her second individual gold in cross country, including the C Division title last year. Her school, Raffles Girls' School, also emerged champions in the team category.
Aisling Lum (#9), Rachel Yeo (#12) and Sophia Ang (#10) led SCGS with 13, 12 and 10 points respectively, while Syrin Hashim (#9) had 11 points for Anderson.
SCGS regained their lead in the final quarter to win the game against North Vista.
A strong fourth quarter performance propelled Anderson to the semi-final victory.
Newcomers SCGS defeated North Vista 47–34 in the semi-final, and will face Anderson in the final.
SCGS led throughout the game to defeat Yio Chu Kang (YCK) 30–10. The win puts SCGS at the top of Group D with a 3–0 win-loss record, while YCK dropped to a 3–1 win-loss record.
SCGS improved to a perfect 3–0 win-loss record and advanced to the second round.
NYGH trailed for the first three quarters, before Adeline Wong's (NYGH #7) shots started going in. She scored all of her points in the final quarter and overtime to lead her team into the final.
