SIM were down by as many as 10 points in the second quarter, before clawing their way back to eventually win 68-62.
Jacqueline Chu (TP #1) recorded a game high of 18 points while Priscilla Han (SIM #13) had a team high of 15.
SIM started its title defence with an 83-61 victory over RP while NTU saw off TP 64-56.
The two teams raised the intensity by a notch, giving the fans a treat.
Going into the match, both NTU and SIM had a perfect 2-0 win-loss record. Although both are already through to the final, neither were willing to lose their winning streak.
NTU registered their third consecutive win of the season with this game. On the other hand, SIM suffered their first loss of the season to NTU, and currently hold a 3–1 win-loss record. Both teams will face Singapore Institute of Technology next.
