Jeremy Lee's (#11) hot shooting helped NUS torch SIM for 33 points, but it was national cager Lim Shengyu (#12) who stood out from the pack with a triple-double of 13 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists, including 4 blocks.
Despite suffering an early scare, SIM capitalized on their experience to clinch a 70-44 victory over SIT, earning them their fourth straight win.
A balanced team effort helped SIM to a comfortable 81-37 win over SMU, giving them their second win at the SUniG women's basketball championship.
SIM overwhelmed defending champions SMU 9–5 to finish third.
With this win, NUS currently top their group that also includes RP and ITE. The other group match between RP and ITE ended in a 1–1 tie.
Zoe Eng (#9) scored four clutch points in 23 seconds to spark SIM to a bronze medal.
