IVP Track and Field: Dipna Lim Prasad and Valerie Pereira almost break national record in scintillating 200m duel

Dipna Lim Prasad and Valerie Pereira, both of Nanyang Technological University, pushed each other to within 15 hundredths of a second off Prema Govindan's women's national 200m record of 22.54 seconds set in 1984 at the Institute-Varsity-Polytechnic (IVP) Championships. Dipna edged Valerie by just a hundredth of a second in a time of 24.68 seconds.

Singapore Management University sweep top five places at Bintan Triathlon

15 members of the Singapore Management University aquathlon team competed in the Bintan Triathlon. Eugene Lim, Xuan Sheng Ou Yong and Lionel Wong swept the podium of the Olympic Distance category while Benjamin Lau and Freddy Ng took first and third positions in the Sprint Distance category.
