SMU beat NUS to make rugby history

The Singapore Management University (SMU) "City Boys" finally made history by securing their first 15-a-side win over the defending champions National University of Singapore (NUS) with a convincing 23-10 victory. It was a great result for SMU after they had suffered a narrow and bitter 7-8 defeat to NUS in the first leg.

SMU to take on NUS in Tri-Universities Rugby Championship

The highly-anticipated second game of the Tri-Universities Rugby Championships between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Singapore Management University (SMU) will kick off at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, February 2 at the NUS Field. SMU is looking to build on their victory over the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in their first game last weekend whilst NUS plan to start their campaign on the right note. The venue is familiar to the SMU team, who won the inaugural NUS 7s back in 2006.
