Jacob Chin (#15) scored a hat trick. Anders Alpin (#9) added two goals while Mohd Hyder (#7) added another in NTU's 6–0 victory.
Lim Jia Min (#18) led NTU with 15 points, while Chua Cunfang (#3) and Jolie Ng (#9) added 13 and 12 points respectively. Jolie had an excellent showing on both ends as she facilitated NTU's offence and recorded several steals.
Juliana Ang (#3) led SIM with 12 points, while Zoe Eng (#6) and Priscilla Han (#13) contributed 11 points each. Clara Chua (#31) led NUS with a game-high 14 points, while Nur Shuhadah (#5) added 11 points.
Lim Wai Sian (#14) and Gustav Ingberg (#41) of NTU scored a joint game-high of 17 points while Zhou Zhen Jie (#3) of SIM scored a team-high of 14 points.
Hosts Singapore take out neighbours Malaysia 8–0 in their opening match in the 6th World University Floorball Championships.
SMU's Brandon Yow (#25) and Blandon Tan (#74) scored a penalty each to help SMU clinch the championship after a five-year wait.
Abdul Rahman (NTU) finished with a bronze while Crystal Wong (NP) won gold.
