Clara Wong of MGS wins biathlon gold

Amidst fears of a brewing storm, Clara Wong of Methodist Girls' School won the gold medal in the Individual Senior B Girls category with a timing of 37 minutes 16 seconds (swim: 14 min 23 sec, run: 22 min 54 sec), a slight drop from her previous timing clocked last year but nonetheless still a repeat of last year's gold-medal feat.

Victoria School regain B Division Cross-Country Championship title

The threatening skies failed to douse the smiles of Victoria supporters as they celebrated their B Division boys team title, edging out defending champions Raffles Institution by two points in the process. With the win, they banished the disappointment of title-less year in 2007.

Singapore Sports School triumph over CHIJ to capture B Division Netball Championship title

Singapore Sports School edged out CHIJ (Toa Payoh) 32-28 to capture the B Division Netball Championship title. CHIJ had just captured the C Division title after trouncing RGS, and were looking to complete a netball double, with their last double achieved three years ago in 2005. Standing in their way was their toughest opponents yet in the form of Singapore Sports School who had beaten them by three goals in an earlier round.

Roundup of B Division badminton semi-finals

The boys and girls of the Singapore Sports School qualified for both B Division finals earlier this week (location and date unknown). The Sports School boys will now take on defending champions Montfort while the girls will face Xinmin.
