Heng Yu Jie was just 0.16s behind Shohib in second place, while Joshua Nga placed third in 4:25.19.

SAJC were able to maintain their unbeaten run in the group stages of the National A Division Rugby Championship. They secured qualification for the semi-final in their previous game against Jurong Junior College (JJC).
Ashley Ng (SAJC #5) scored a game-high 15 points while Robin Alviedo (SAJC #8) had 12 points. Teng Wye Kit (VJC #6) managed to muster a team-high 5 points as consolation.
