A single point was all that separated the Boys’ Byte Division champions Raffles Institution and runners-up Victoria School at the National C Division Byte Sailing Championships.
With the victory, North Vista improved to 8-0 for the season and is currently tied with Catholic High School for the longest active win streak in the Championship at eight games.
Pei Hwa’s 15-points rampage in the first quarter saw them take the lead permanently as they continued the game with at least a 10-point advantage throughout.
This was Yio Chu Kang's first win out of three games.
Aaron (CVS #12) led with a game-high 12 points, while Mark Zhen Yang (YCK #19) led his team with 19.
SCGS led throughout the game to defeat Yio Chu Kang (YCK) 30–10. The win puts SCGS at the top of Group D with a 3–0 win-loss record, while YCK dropped to a 3–1 win-loss record.
Yio Chu Kang stifled MSL’s offence in the first half to open up a lead which they maintained for the rest of the game for the victory.
Lai Zheng De (CHR #7) led all scorers with 19 points, while teammate Eugene Tan (CHR #11) had 16 points. Justin Ng (YCK #10) led his team with 10 points.
