Defending B Division National and West Zone boys' basketball champions Unity Secondary School continued their two-year long winning streak when they cruised past Bukit Panjang Government High School 81-43 in the second round of the West Zone Championship.
Eight schools have so far confirmed their places in the second round of the West Zone B Division Boys' Basketball Championship after 10 days of action.
Regent Secondary edged out Jurong West Secondary 17-16 to qualify for the second round while NUS High School trounced Chua Chu Kang Secondary 36-2 and beat Zhenghua Secondary 18-7.
C Division West Zone netball defending champions River Valley High School have won three consecutive matches and are looking to enter the second round with a perfect win-loss record.
