Hwa Chong Institution added another gold medal to its tally when Wayne Yap clinched the gold medal in the ‘B’ Division Boys High Jump Final last Friday. He cleared a height of 1.79m before attempting to break the record of 2.01m by first progressively jumping from a height of 1.9m. However, he failed to set a new record as his shin crashed into the bar during his attempt.

Fellow teammate Aaron Koh took home the bronze medal with a jump height of 1.76m.
