Raffles Girls’ School held off Nanyang Girls’ High to beat them 66-57 in their semifinal match earlier this week.

Nanyang trailed for most of the game except for one brief moment in the third quarter where they managed to haul themselves intot he lead at 41-40. But their key player Sharlene Huang (#13) was got injured during play and Nanyang lost a dominating presence under the basket and they eventually had no answer to the height and aggression of RGS.

RGS will now face Unity in the Championship Final on Friday, 24 August 2007 at the Toa Payoh Sports Hall. Tip-off time is at 2pm.
