Having won two silver medals in 2006, her performance this year proved to be sweet success for the 18 year old. Keeping pace with Jeolinita were Shi Qian of Raffles Junior College and Ang Shi Ting of Hwa Chong Institution. The competition was relatively stiff, with the top eight competitors clearing the 10m mark. Eventually, it was Shi Qian who won silver with a jump of 10.77m while Shi Ting got the bronze with a distance of 10.69m. Jeolinita would eventually go on to add the Long Jump gold to her collection.
