Serangoon Gardens were up against host Yuying who had the match in their favour during the early moments of the game. Yuying seized every opportunity that they could take and eventually their efforts paid off as they took an early lead.

However Serangoon Gardens did not give up . They counter-attacked and momentarily confused Yuying, allowing them to catch up with Yuying. However, Serangoon Gardens' adrenaline soon began to drop and Yuying grabbed hold of the chance to hold off Serangoon Gardens. Yuying's strategy clearly worked and they emerged victors with a score of 53 to 24.

Dunearn and Yishun Town faced off in another match. It was definitely one where both teams were trying to outdo each other. However Dunearn found a loophole in Yishun Town's strategy to start putting points on the board.

Dunearn soon started gaining momentum. Yishun Town countered and stopped their momentum when Yishun got possession of the ball. They struck hard. Their scores were even at a period of time. It was a match that both teams had to fight hard to earn a victory.
However Dunearn prevailed with a score of 41 to 33.
