Toa Payoh Swimming Complex, January 7th, 2008 – Danny Yeo of Nanyang Polytechnic won gold in the men’s 1500m freestyle with a time of 18 minutes, 55.47 seconds. Yeo is a first year student at NYP and also swam for his former school ACS(I) in the B Division where he posted his personal best time of 18:30 for the 1500m.

Clement Chow of Ngee Ann Polytechnic came in second with a time of 19:56:11 while Mok Ying Ren of the National University of Singapore was third in 20:06:27. Ying Ren won the triathlon gold at the recent SEA Games in Thailand.
