CCAB, Monday, April 13, 2009 – Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) cruised to a 35-0 victory over Raffles Institution in their B Division Rugby Championship semi-final.
Poor kicking let RI down and ACS(I) managed two tries and one successful penalty to take an 18-0 half-time lead.
RI never seriously looked like scoring a try and ACS(I) piled on the points with three more tries in the second half, the highlight being a 60m return by an ACS(I) winger for a try under the post.
ACS(I) will now take on St Andrew’s Secondary in the final scheduled for Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009. The venue is expected to be the Padang but that is to be confirmed.
