Kuala Lumpur, Thursday, July 15, 2010 — Singapore swimmers picked up three bronze and one silver medal on Day 1 of the swimming competition at the ASEAN School Games.

Jeremy Kevin Matthews swam to a silver in the 200m backstroke final in a time of 2:09.97. He had clocked 2:13.55 during the heats to qualify for the final.

Teo Zhen Ren, Ren Guan Ji and Natasha-Lin Low picked up bronze medals in their respective events.
