Yangon, Saturday, September 17, 2011 — Singapore finished without a single group win at the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Under-19 Championship.

Against arch-rivals Malaysia, Singapore were thrashed 6-0, their biggest loss in Group A. Singapore trailed 3-0 at half-time.

In their other matches, Singapore only managed to draw 1-1 with both Philippines and Cambodia, and they lost their final group game 3-0 against Thailand.

In four games, Singapore only managed to score two goals while letting in 11. Singapore finished fourth in the five-team group.

Thailand and Malaysia qualified from Group A for the semi-finals and will take on Myanmar and Vietnam respectively.

Group A: Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia

Group B: Myanmar, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, Brunei
