A 10km Wheelchair Race was incorporated into the Singapore Marathon, making the event an inclusive one for Singaporeans. $200,000 was also raised by runners for the Autism Association (Singapore), the official charity for this year’s Singapore Marathon. Hats off to the runners who each raised a minimum of $500 for the charity.

Our school athletes also made their presence felt at the Singapore Marathon. In the Women’s 10km team event, Team NUS Babes came in second while Hwa Chong Girls were fifth while in the 10km mixed team event, a team from Singapore Polytechnic came in third while Republic Polytechnic’s team were fourth.
