Coach Recognition Awards 2007

Guo Huaiyun was presented with the Development Coaching Award (Schools) at the 2007 Coach Recognition Awards.

48-year-old Huaiyun, who has coached for 22 years, the last 12 in Singapore, oversees athletes at Hwa Chong Institution (HCI) and his charges performed well in a series of national and regional meets in 2006.
One of his athletes is Lim Zhuo Yan who represented the Singapore Combined Schools team and won the Shot Putt event and set a new record at the Western Australian State Track & Field Championships. Another athlete, Justin Lee, also represented the Singapore Combined Schools team and won in the Under-13 Javelin event at the Western Australian State Championships. He also clinched the ‘C’ Division Boys Javelin title at the National Inter-Schools Track & Field Championships and set a new Championship record.

Scott Wong, another HCI athlete, represented the Singapore Combined Schools team and came in second in the Discus event and set a new Singapore Schools record at the ASEAN Schools Track & Field Championships. He also clinched first place in the ‘B’ Division Boys Discus event and set a new Championships record at the National Inter-Schools Track & Field Championships. Alan Teh came in first in the ‘C’ Division Boys Discus event and set a new Championship record at the National Inter-Schools Track & Field Championships.

first picture im not sure but if im not wrong its Cai JiaSheng. not too sure though i comfirm with my frens first.
