Coach Recognition Awards 2007

Nelson Lim was presented with the Development Coaching Award (Schools) at the 2007 Coach Recognition Awards.

Nelson, who has coached for 16 years, oversees the teams at the Raffles Institution, Raffles Junior College, and Raffles Girls' School. He was awarded "The Sports Legend Award" by the Singapore Recreation Club in 2005.

Under the charge of the 54-year-old coach, the boys from Raffles Junior College won the 2006 ‘A’ Division Inter-School Softball Championship while the ‘A’ girls finished second. Both the boys and girls teams also took second place at the Chiangmai Invitational Open in 2006.
